In 1959, Mario Castagnotto had a premonition that coffee would change his life forever.
With a small roaster and a good dose of steely determination, he started making his Caffè Mike coffee.
He made a name for himself selling locally, and before long, had built a far-reaching reputation.
Practice makes perfect, and his success enabled him to pass on his passion to the people working alongside him, teaching them the importance of choosing raw materials with great care and above all, of maintaining consistent quality across each and every process used to transform the coffee from bean to cup.
